Merry Christmas!

I love the story of Christmas. It reminds us that we are in this incredible, immense story of God coming to earth and the promise of His eventual return. It started with a baby being born in a manager and it ends with a Bridegroom coming soon for His Bride to reign on earth for all ages to come. With it, He brings peace that knows no end as He envelops us in His unfailing love. We are His witnesses of His coming as a baby, giving His life on a cross and His resurrection power. While we did not see it directly, we see it all around us. We know it! Every time someone receives salvation, gets freedom from impossible bondage, a miracle is worked, someone is healed, or someone goes on to heaven, we see evidence of Him. We know His goodness among us! It is undeniable! So how can we not anticipate His return with great joy and expectation?!

I saw His undeniable goodness with my mother going home. It was beautiful. A few days before she went home, she was having visions of heaven. She described live plants that were made of gold and in the shape of crowns. She said they were stunning. She also had a few visits, from my dad and some of her sisters. When she went home, she was reciting Psalm 23 and singing “In the Garden.” She went quickly with all us kids at her side, just as she hoped. I know where she is and that she has joy unspeakable. While I miss her, who can be too sad about that! As I was worshipping Jesus some weeks ago in church, I had an experience of her reaching over from the other side and touching my face. It was so sweet to get one final good-bye until I see her again in heaven.

Ever think about just how close this other realm is and our access to it through Jesus? Ephesians 2:6 says, “For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.” Jesus opened the heavens and made this dimension accessible to us. Not only this, but as we are in Him, we are seated in Him in this heavenly realm. This Kingdom realm brings life, restoration, healing, wholeness and purity wherever it touches. It is like a stream of fresh living water that causes all around it to flourish. We have this living water not only within us but available to give to all those around us.

I have such a longing to live more out of this heavenly realm as it is promised. It is the realm of supernatural peace, provision, protection, dreams, visions, and power. When I worship, I often break into experience this realm in a different measure. I know it is there and can see it. When I do, I am often overwhelmed by the goodness of God. To think, it is available to all of us to experience and live out of!

As this heavenly realm is available to us, it is a game changer. We see folks like Paul and Peter, from the Bible, walking in signs, wonders, and miracles as they access this heavenly realm. Whole groups of people come to know the Lord and be baptized with His Spirit. Phillip is taken up into this realm and instantly dropped in another location. We see Jesus also suddenly disappearing into this realm and appearing somewhere else. Enoch, in his walking closely with God and living a life pleasing to Him, was the first one we know of to cross over to this realm and not come back.

We know that you don’t even have to be whole-heartedly following the Lord to access this realm. Some of the kings from the Bible were accessing this realm in dreams or visions. One even saw the writing on the wall as he was sinning gravely against God. This was a convergence of the unseen and seen realms that took Daniel to interpret the writing. Perhaps it was the power of prayer, such as by Daniel, that made this realm available to these kings.

Jesus is not inactive or indifferent when the heavens are opened. In Revelation 19:11 it says, “Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for He judges fairly and wages a righteous war.”

When Jesus returns, He will fully establish His Kingdom order. Revelation 11:15 says “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” It says further down in Revelation 19 that the beast and false prophet who deceived so many and performed miracles along with their entire army is killed by the sword that came from the mouth of the One riding the white horse. This means that the deception that keeps people in the dark will also be lifted and people will see rightly.

Revelation 1:7 says, “Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him--even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.”

Coming back to my mom, this is a picture of her at church with me a month or so before she went home. She always joined me in praying for folks (in her heart) and worshipping at Eagle Brook Church (EBC). She was even baptized through EBC in the lake a few years before she went home. So fun to see her recommit everything to Jesus and make the decision to be baptized as an adult. She radiated His presence and was deeply loved by not only our family but her church families and friends.

This undeniable story we are a part of through Jesus, I also see all the time where I work. We see people get freed from opioid addiction and turn around and become ministers of the gospel. Families are restored after years of heartache. Nothing is beyond Him!

Being a prayer minister, I also get to see firsthand the wonder of healings, restorations, and deliverances. There is no greater joy than to see Him at work changing lives! Years ago, he set me free from depression and anxiety. It was amazing. It was like someone came in and turned the lights on. I am deeply grateful. I just keep running towards this glorious light and endless love that so transformed everything for me and filled me with joy and I am never disappointed.

In the midst of the wonder and the joy, Mike and I have seen incredible things happen in our lives and many prayers answered. Mike, who was told he was just a few years from losing his sight some 15 years ago, is still seeing to get around at home just fine. What a gift! We pray together every night for his eyesight.

And Thomas saw his kidneys improve from stage 4 to stage 3 renal failure. What?! They told us that they couldn’t improve and that when he went through his growth spirt, he would most likely need a kidney transplant as growth is heavily taxing on the kidneys. That boy is now almost 6’4” and his kidneys improved! Only a miracle as kidneys do not just improve on their own. He is busy living out his dream of going to college someday by taking some PSEO. He had went from scoring at the bottom 1% of the population on standard testing when he first came to us to a straight A student and at the mean level in standard testing as a high schooler. He is stepping by faith into college and experiencing new levels of challenge. It has been tough for him to make the adjustment so he can certainly use your prayers.

And Carter is such an animal lover. His relationship with animals is really special. We lost Davidson this past year which was hard on him. The two of them were super close. He looks forward to the day he gets to see him again and sometimes has dreams where Davidson comes back just to hug him. How sweet is that! He is coming along and quite the entrepreneur. He developed his own website and is selling “merch” on it. So fun! I am so proud of these boys and, if you knew their story, you would see the miraculous at every turn. For Carter, they said he would probably never ride a bike due to motor skill issues and he is not only biking, but an outstanding athlete. How great is our God!

Travis and Cristina are also doing amazingly well as always. Travis has this incredible generous and compassionate heart while also being super smart and responsible. Travis loves being an engineer at the UofM and still enjoys cooking. He also lost a ton of weight on Keto and is super skinny.

And to think, this God loves us so much that He is coming again in the not so distant future. If you do not know this incredible God, I would encourage you that today can be the best day of your life! Receiving this babe who came in a manager, went to the cross, and then was raised again is a game changer. Your life will never be the same if you hold Him in your heart. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” You can invite Him in today, just say the prayer below:

Jesus, come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Forgive me from my sins. Amen.

PS. I almost forgot to mention. I have written two more books and they are out on Amazon. Let it Be: A Place of Rest is a book about finding peace and rest standing in the promises of God for your life and for this hour. It includes lots of biblical perspective on where we are in God’s divine timeline. I had the opportunity to speak on it in a workshop for Set Apart, the UNWSP Women’s conference earlier this year and at a few other church gatherings.

Holy Pursuit: Passionately Pursuing the Purposes of God is about walking in holiness by living into God’s purposes for your life. He is the One who makes you holy and walking with Him hand-in-hand is the most extraordinary and miraculous way to live.

Lots of love, blessings and prayers,

Twila and the Jensen family.
