Please join me in prayer for Israel, Lebanon, and Gaza
A prayer request from a friend:
It is with great sadness that we have watched the events of the last few weeks unfold. Israel is now involved in military action on two fronts – in Gaza and Lebanon. Children in the North of Israel are staying in bomb shelters as katyusha rockets are being shot all over the area by Hizbullah. People living in South Beirut have been advised to leave their homes. Soldiers and civilians on both sides have been killed. Innocent lives are being taken and peaceful families are now living in fear and in some cases, without basic necessities... We ask that you would join us as we pray and intercede on behalf of Israel and the nations involved, that God would establish his purposes and bring about the salvation of His people.
We would specifically request your prayers for our daughter... who, at this difficult time is entering the military to begin her 2 year service. Thank you.
